- Provide alternative text for meaningful images
- Use a responsive, mobile-first layout that works on small screens
- Avoid unnecessary visual clutter, movement and distraction
- Keep forms simple, clearly labelled and easy to complete
- Use clear, plain language wherever practical
Our current position
We build this website with accessibility in mind and test it on a range of screen sizes. The website has not been formally audited against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, so we do not claim a specific level of WCAG compliance. We are continuing to improve the site over time.
Known limitations
Some content — such as photographs from our events, or information hosted on external websites we link to — may not meet the same standards throughout. If something on our site is difficult to use, we would like to know.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format, please email senfamiliesunite@senfamiliesunite.uk. Tell us the page and what you found difficult, and we will do our best to help and to fix the issue.
Policy review
This statement is reviewed as the website changes and as we make further accessibility improvements.
